Charity at the heart of everything we do

“The theme of our Appeal is ‘Your Support – Their Future’. This encapsulates the whole purpose of the Appeal.

The Royal Masonic Trust for Girls and Boys looks after the families of Freemasons who, sadly, have died, or families who are in financial distress. They are currently supporting 22 families in Worcestershire.
Clearly, the Trust only has a finite amount of money available, hence their reliance on Provinces such as ours in raising funds to continue their good work.”

Charitable Work
The United Grand Lodge of England states the values of Freemasonry are based on integrity, kindness, honesty and fairness. Freemasons are taught to practise charity and to care, not only for their own, but also for the community as a whole – both by charitable giving, and by voluntary efforts and works as individuals. Nationally, our efforts are channelled through four main charity organisations:

  1. The Grand Charity

  2. Royal Masonic Trust for Girls and Boys

  3. Royal Masonic Benevolent Institution

  4. Masonic Samaritan Fund
